Nothing. Customers pay for it. Haven't you seen one of their bills before.
LOL But it's not like Comcast doesn't use satellites:

Titan Earth Station
This unique satellite facility is the primary transmission plant for all of Comcast Media Center's distribution power. Located southwest of Denver on the 105th meridian for optimal visibility into both the Atlantic and Pacific Operating Regions, Titan can reach North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and South America from one building. It's one of the largest, most technically advanced satellite facilities in the world offering KU band, KA band, C band and DBS formats, as well as fiber connectivity.

And also Directv isn't doing the launch they hired out to do all that for them. So I guess I wouldn't see them having a problem launching any satellite.

I wonder what would of happened if Directv didn't change there mind and kept the spaceway program for 2 way internet instead of HD channels. Would their stocks gone up as much in that case?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
