I'm very confused by the other Logitech item listed in the test report. The C-UV35 is the USB adapter they use for the dinovo keyboards which means this unit may just be a wireless USB controller which would lack power on capability. They may not be using the same Bluetooth stack as the PS3.

I diagrammed it to show what I mean...

The WiFi chip is only half the battle... the software to make it useful is a whole other issue and there has been some good development in that area as well. TVCompass manufactures the ESPN Unltimate Remote which is available now and has built-in WiFi. The software they have lets you browse TV Guide Listings, send text messages, check news, rss, and weather and more.
There are USB dongle solutions from Intec, EZRemote, Nyko and a small company called Schmartz. The Schmartz solution (PS3IRX1) is twice the price of the others but it is also the most reliable of them. The Nyko is a close second but if you plan on "teaching" the codes to your learning remote you may have problems because of the inconsistent IR strength.

I have both the IR2BT and Schmartz PS3IR-PRO and they both offer the same full control as the Sony BT remote. They are both IR to Bluetooth converters. The big difference between them is that the Schmartz is field upgradeable while the IR2BT but be sent back for firmware upgrades if Sony ever changes the BT profile as they did in the last update. The Schmartz PS3IRPro also has a IR mini-jack plug so you don't have to tape on an emitter in more advanced control systems.
I actually did an interview with the Philips Director and Market Manager and have this info on price and release date

RemoteShoppe: When will the TSU9800 be available and how much will it cost?

Philips: The TSU9800 will be available late September, 2008 for a MSRP of $2399.99
I'm a martial artist for more than 25 years and have been a big fan of MMA since it's earliest days and Cuban hit this one right on the head. I've read hundreds of profiles and talked to a lot of people who love the sport and I think even this lunkhead author would be impressed by the people and their backgrounds. I'd gladly share mine - http://www.mmafightspace.com/senseijim

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
