Because my stupid local affiliate aired some stupid local crap instead of the scheduled show.

This happened to me twice this last year with Fox.
Eventually the same thing will happen to various BD Live titles as what happened to the online features on HD DVDs. The servers will be shut down, or at least the content for various titles will be removed to make room for new releases. Yeah BD Live is a cool idea, but with the ever changing nature of online I'd rather that content be directly on the disc.
I still have yet to find a perfect universal remote to replace my TiVo peanut remote. I just wish TiVo would take their remote design and make a universal out of it.
It is rumored Arcsoft will be dropping HD DVD. I am ready to replace my HD DVD PC drive with a LG combo, but with them dropping HD DVD along with PowerDVD I'm left with little options. I might as well continue to wait for a good Profile 2.0 stand alone player that supports bitstreaming.
Mr. E, The PiP track is really cool. You see how everything looked before any special effects were added. It goes a long way in explaining what they did, and how they did it to get the final picture. And seeing it next to the finished product makes it easy to compare the two. The coolest PiP feature I've seen in my HD DVD collection.
At least is doesn't cover up most of the cover art like the swooshes did on HD DVD's. The two Mummy covers do look dull to me though. Surely they could have done something better than putting the standard cover art in a little box surrounded by orange. I was thinking this may be the first HD DVD I replace with Blu if the picture quality improves (We already know the audio will be DTS-HD MA), but I'll definitely want new artwork!
I use OTA for all my locals here, but Battlestar Galactica isn't on Fox. ;)

For me the only one I'm interested in is the Science channel. I'd still love to see them get more available here. It seems like SLC is always the last to get new products.
Yup, it is old news... watched game 5 on it last night.
It seemed like KSL had been the only one investing in HD. It's finally nice to see the other stations coming around. It really felt to me like if you wanted to see HD programming outside primetime KSL was more likely to have it.

Hopefully ABC is coming soon even though it's 720p. My buddy is the producer of a local TV show there and I believe he said their show is going HD in October. They are already shooting it in HD, but channel 4 is still airing it in SD.
I'm with ya! NASCAR first and foremost, followed by golf.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
