No this doesn't give us an idea of what the markup is for these Blu-Ray/HD-DVD Combo players. The demand for HD-DVD owners to future proof their investment is too great for any retailer to sacrifice their markup to offset the end of the HD war.

Keep in mind that Future Shop can receive a tax receipt for these donations based on the original purchase price. So that can factor into the net profit from this transaction as well.

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
