Thanks for commenting Eric, I doubt that they would friend me either; that part was said in jest.

I do believe that if the system had a complete match on me it may be able to determine the average score based on my friends; but my biggest problem is that the system has too much conflicting information on me.

If that gets worked out, then, Yes; I do see a bank being able to better make decisions based on who you know similar to how some community banks already do this. But, at this point, I don't trust big banks to use the info responsibly.

Good luck!
I understand the apprehension, but, they are supposed to use shipping methods that makes sure it gets there. I wonder if the USPS or UPS failed for any FSD customer last year.
Correct. It's just an example of what you don't want in a for sale image and what you do.

The first image wasn't an actual car for sale; but illustrates key things you should avoid better than one I could recreate.

-Busy background
-Dirt on car
-Side shot only
-To far out from car

If you need to take a good picture to sell your car, Mark recommends a neutral background like the local mall building.
It's simply the average credit score of users on Credit Karma. It isn't saying that your credit score is low because you have a yahoo address. Just that as a whole their credit scores are lower.
I'm pretty certain they will get the amount minus coupon, but this is better than returning it without a coupon because then you are at the mercy of the lowest sale price in the last 60-90 days.
We are constantly working to keep spam comments out of WalletPop. Sadly the spammers keep coming and we have to keep adjusting our methods as well.

WalletPop (and AOL) don't allow Spam bots to post comments in order to make money. We all hate spam just as much as you do and do our best to keep it out of the comments.
If there are additional PF and money related companies we'll follow up.
David,

Thanks for catching the error. The story and the math have been updated and it's still a horrible way to spend $5 grand that a student doesn't have even cut in half.

Appreciate your catch.
The least GM could have done was leave positive feedback to 661henryglen.

Don't they know the quid pro quo of eBay?
It's in there: "Did you realize that Tiger Woods pulls in $2,329 every time he swings his club?"
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
