Resident Evil: The version that should've been right from the very start
this would so rock
Looks like it was the local station here (thanks alot KXTV). They've finally flipped the HD switch halfway through the second episode.
Is it just me but Scrubs wasn't in HD??? Very disappointed with ABC for not showing Scrubs in HD. Was hoping that a change in venue will finally show this in hi-def.
this would look cool w/ my hdtv

Here in Roseville, CA (in the Sacramento area), we've just got the E!, Golf, VS and along w/ 9 more channels. Can't wait for G4 (for me) & Style (for my girlfriend) to be added to this
I live in Roseville, CA (just minutes north of Sacramento) and was pleasantly suprised when I was channel surfing that they've added Science HD, ABC Family HD and Disney Channel HD. It looks like they've just added it very recently that they've got ABC Family and Disney mixed up on the onscreen channel guide. LOL.

And yes the HD channel squeezing has made the existing HD channel's quality take a nosedive. Just take a look at Universal HD and Discovery HD Theater for graininess, artifacting and blockiness. For the newly added channels, SciFi is not even in HD until at night. AMC HD has taken the TNT or A&E route and just stretched their SD movies. CNN and TLC was passable, with Animal Planet and Food Network the best of the bunch.

I've also noticed the slight black bars on some of the Discovery and TLC shows. It looks like its on just some shows but not all of them.

Comcast HD is certainly a mixed bag at the moment. I'm gonna do the wait and see approach with them. Definitely, if the quality gets worst, I'll switch to DirectTV, Dish Network or even ATT U-verse.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
