The new mouse is nice for iMac users who want the multi-touch functionality of the glass track pad but have no real alternative. I'm sure there might be a Wacom or Logitech accessory out there, but the fact is native hardware will play nicer in this environment.

I'm of course going to try before I buy today, but I'm excited. I think it finally delivers multi-touch functionality that is useful to the desktop owner...although the new iMac is twice as nice as the one I bought a year ago.
Navigon has a weak POI database. I was just using it for two weeks on my honeymoon. It's great finding your nearest Best Buy, Holiday Inn, or Burger King/Dunkin Donuts. But when you go to a place looking for local POIs, its frustrating when you can't get them.

We tried to route a drive to Medevil Times for dinner. It got us there, but the POI database didn't have it in there. This was true for a lot of major local sites in Myrtle Beach, where we were.

I would stick with Navigon. The no text to speech wasn't huge...and all around it worked nicely.
For me, it comes down to the lighting in the room.

Because I tend to watch a lot of movies with the lights on, the brightness comes through better on my lg LCD. I've thought recently about the KURO and the benefit of deeper contrasts and blacks. It just depends how you watch your HDTV.
I bought a Wii Fit for the girlfriend for her birthday in September. Since then I've used it twice and she's yet to create a profile for herself. So the buzz alone made her ask for the thing, god know if she'll ever use it. Maybe I can show her the girl hool-a-hooping in her underwear video as motivation.
So without a wifi connection, how woud the itouch make use of this? Don't I need some data connection to receive the gps data?
As AlbanyHDTV said, we've had these channels for awhile. But they better keep expanding, I'm an inch away from going to DirectTV for VH1 HD and NFL Network.

I have to admit though, TWC has done an excellent job periodically rolling out new features and channels.
I'd love to free up one more USB spot on my brand new iMac. Worrd.
Fueling my sports addictions.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
