I like how they used the tail end of Corrado... :)
As long they make this with a "sport" version with lowered springs and sporty tires, this will be my next choice as a car. I love the Mini but just wished it was little bit bigger. Thanks, BMW.
Really? So, the same thing happened to Subaru also whenever they stopped paying off JD Power?

I pay attention enough in that community to know that Subaru quality has improved dramatically in the last 5 years.
Take these results with a grain of salt. JD Power is so corrupt its ridiculous.

I have a friend who is mom used to run a large hospital. One year they decided that they would get their CS in line to make it on to the JD Power list. The next year they made it on the list. She was proud of the accomplishment, so wanted to brag about it in literature for the hospital. Here is the catch-21 of JD power. In order to use their logo or branding or even brag about the accomplishment, you have to pay MASSIVE licensing fees to JD Power. She did but noticed no uptick in patients at the hospital. So, the next year the board decided that it wasnt worth the money. Guess what? They completely fell off the top customer service list in the JD Power yearly survey of hospitals.
Man, nitpicky car fanatics. My point wasnt that the car is being build versus being built in 18 months in the US. My point was that all this praise for this guy sounds unwarranted if all he did was put new lipstick on the NoStyle and the Flex, but coming from someone who thinks that the Taurus is the next coming of Jesus it didnt surprise me.
It always gives me a kick to see people fawn over a particular brand because no one understands it except fellow fans. I do it for Subaru.

Why Ford, Mr. Editor?

Give the guy a stab at the Focus? You've got to be kidding. Their is a perfectly designed Focus being produced right here in the US and getting shipped back to the UK...

I am wagon fanatic and loved the Fairlane concept. What Ford did to the Flex is completely egregious. They blew it up to SUV size and it wound up looking almost as bad as the NoStyle. What did this guy do for the NoStyle other than slap a grill on it? What empty praise...
Thats nothing new. They've had an Ipod dedicated adapter for a little while now that works across most of the Subaru lineup.
Well, it has a tiny bit better fuel economy than the v6 Mazda in this review, it can run circles around all the cars in the review, its safer, its true AWD, its more fun to drive and it more reliable than both Nissan and Mazda.

The premium fuel becomes less and less of an issue as the price of gallon goes up. Drive 250 miles on the highway in the v6 Mazda and the same in the Legacy and you spend about $.75 more in the Legacy.

Drive about 250 miles in town in both and you spend MORE in the Mazda.

The legroom is fine for anyone less than 6 feet tall in the rear seat of the car. I can pack my wife and 2 kids and all the luggage for a trip in the car. Its fine by me.
Its interesting that you NEVER see a Legacy brought to these parties. The Legacy GT is not a barn burner by any means and it's smallest, least leg room and worst fuel economy. However, it wins out in just about everything else. It is a seriously fun car to drive. Hoipefully they give it a second look when the longer Tribeca based Legacy is released.

Also, you can't drive any of those others off the lot, hit a button on a power programmer and immediately have another 40hp on tap.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
