My player does every new surround format but one, which is DTS HD Master. which stinks
Im also thinking about a front projector that has a verticle stretch mode to use with an anamorphic lens, and the new curved screens, for extreme widescreen video
I will get the Lsaervue when it comes out, maybe the SED if it shows up but LCD and Plasma's are getting pretty good, but I also heard about holographic HD that would be asome.
does anyone know if any of these projectors have the vertical stretch mode, to be used with an anamrophic lens
there is also a new Panasonic Blu-Ray player coming out that is "Profile 2" it is the DMP Bd50. I wish I new the release date I want it, I have right now the DMP Bd10A which I like but the 7.1 analogue output still does not work right on 7.1 audio, it works on everything else like 5.1 to 6.1.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
