How about they launch the Zune HD outside the states first, I am sick of importing Zune hardware :-)
Yes please MS, I live in Oz also, have a Zune, but pleeaaassseeee release the Zune HD asap here, otherwise another ebay purchase it is!
I agree, 3% is quite pathetic given the time frame BD has been around now.
@ Nick for his comment "HD downloads will never replace blu ray" oh you are halarious, ok you keep holding on to that dream if you wish, the rest of us will be laughing at you in a few years whilst dowloading on out fiber 100Mbps (or faster) connection.
OMG I just jizzed in my pants, seriously I can't wait to snap one up! MS this A+
That's interesting, as Panasonic don't even profess to be good at LCD, they are good at Plasma, fool!
That's awesome, been waiting for this news for ever (like all of us), now I can wait to see them here in Australia, I will sure as hell be ready to snap one up as soon as they land on our shores.
Our cable/DSL plans aren't the best in Oz compared to the states, but on the wireless side 5GB for $59.99 plus taxes, you have got to be kidding right?, we get 6GB for $39.00 AUD (including taxes), thats $29.38 US dollars including taxes, then slowed should you exceed your cap without additional charges. This includes a USB key which you can add to your 3G WiFi router easily enough. (source http://www.three.com.au/)
At Dave "A download with bluray quality would take HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS." perhaps in US it does, there are other places in the world that are lucky enough to get FTTH with speeds at 100Mbps or more, it sure doesn't take the hours to talk about :-) plus a lot of the data on the BD disc is special features, which we don't need, take that off and suddenly the amount of data on the disc is lowered significantly somewhat.
They will provide you with a usage gauge, here in Australia all our 350+ ISP's have usage gauges, they have to because all ISP's here have download limits :-(
Although those prices stated sound ridiculous for TWC, even a 150GB plan on TPG (http://www.tpg.com.au/products_services/adsl2plus_pricing.php) is $69.99 AUD (about $55 USD)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
