This was in play with the last administration, Bushies... it was delayed more than once in the last 8 years. It is an idea that should have been killed off, but unfortunately the new administration was suckered into it. I have FiOS, so I don't care, but really...if you aren't ready now, it's your own damn fault.
The Verizon adapter uses the same remote as the other Motorola devices. It also comes with said remote. You will not be able to use your TV to change channels; however, you will have access to ALL of the channels you currently subscribe to, including movie channels. The only things you won't have are VOD and the IMG.
