The samsung media extender and follow up was fun although the product wasn't ready for primetime.
I was also screwd by MS. I exchanged two 360 and one elite 360. Ended up with a HTPC and just hate that only WMC will work with it! I am sure I will go with WIN7 for clear QAM but wish that I could drop MS completly.
If I win I will tell everbody!
Boy was I glad that Amazon took this back. After waiting several month for this to come out (and pre-ordered it), it was not ready for primetime. I love Sammy. My 42'plasma and 1080p DVD are great. I also have a 22' SyncMaster 226bw. I would have thought with all of the delays this would be the perfect extender. I returned 3-360 (including one elite) and really wanted this to work not being a gamer. The Anynet feature was great. It was very sluggish and locked up several times. Terrible product.
this would be nice
Epb.
will also have voip. So I can drop the tripleplay. The funny thing is that it will be faster and cheaper than anyone else. Alton park should have before the end of 08.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
