This is only for their Bronx and Brooklyn systems, not all systems, and the reason is cable theft.
If you forget to record it, even with the RS-DVR you're SOL. The whole argument was that each customer got their own hard drive space for recordings and you had to set up and watch your recording. There is no master recording to share are you can't access someone elses recording.
"analog HDTV"

Huh?

Is it an HDTV monitor with no tuner or a plain old SDTV. The coupons can't be used to buy HDTV tuners.
The rest of their systems will get the other 22 channels in June.
These became available From Cablevision on Wednesday too.
Showtime Showcase HD will also be added.
We already have USA-HD, and most of those other channels don't come in HD. What would TV Land possible show in HD?
Forgot to mention that even if you are switching from OTA to Cablevision, they aren't raising the price for broadcast basic, at least not on my system.
Cablevision always announces their rate changes at this time of year. Why would most people switch to cable due to the analog shutoff? You can get digital signals with an antenna and there are those government subsidized converters if you have an old TV.
They've been available to me in CT for almost two years, it's just that all the legal issues they had changed how they were clasified by the state DPUC a year ago. Their limitation on HD streams, and lack of RSN's in HD, keeps me with Cablevision. Also for a comparable triple play they actually would cost me more then I am paying with Cablevision, even after the Cablevision rate increase goes into effect.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
