Actually, it will be released in August and the price will be $1,899.

I saw it at the Sony show in Vegas.
Panasonic now sells the 103" For under $40,000 and yet the Runco version is still $100,000.

The B&O looks like a bargan next to Sam's product.
DIY enthusiasts routinely spend $10-$30K on their HT setup; I hardly think $500 is exorbitant.

Crestron can't stop selling the new $3800 TPS-6X. Is that too expensive for a remote?

It's all relative.
Runco is largely a marketing ploy.

They have ben rebadging NEC and now Panasonic displays for years. However, what always ends up happening is that they purchase 5,000 (or whatever) Panasonic nth generation displays, and before you know it Panasonic is now selling the n+2 th generation displays.

So the outcome is that Runco is selling a 1 or 2 year old Panasonic for twice the price, but you do get a nice shiny anodized metal frame!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
