Paul,
Some of your posts are among my favorite at Engadget!
"One of those lawyers for the plaintiffs, Jonathan W. Cuneo, said the payment to the lawyers did not even cover time or expenses, while the settlement 'provides a valuable benefit for all members of the class.'"

While don't you calm down a bit there, FitFan, before you bash a bunch of people you don't know. It's easy to look in without knowing any details and judge harshly.
@nhasian
My understanding is that TRIM is not supported. I'm hoping that Kingston will adapt the new Intel firmware to these drives ASAP.
Isn't this essentially how hydrogen fuel cells work?
Great post. I actually laughed (out loud) several times.
"For its part, IIHS spokesman Joe Nolan says the organization may begin crash testing the "souped-up golf carts" to demonstrate their safety deficiencies when compared with normal cars and trucks."

Great. I'm sure we can expect totally fair results from tests designed to show "safety deficiencies."
That headline made me groan. But keep up the great Frankfurt coverage!
Lottery!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
