CA has had the hands free law in effect for awhile now. What goes into effect Jan. 1 is that you can't text on a mobile phone while driving. A major loophole in the previous law. It really doesn't matter. I live in the Bay Area and idiots still text and use cell phones all the time while driving.

I updated my 5K using a CD. No problems at all.

I'm using a HDMI and using Audiophile Bitstream mode. Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio sound fantastic!!!!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
