Criterion is releasing on BluRay. Classic movies are coming to BluRay.

You argument falls flat on its face.

You fail.

Again.
The fact that Criterion is releasing on BluRay shoots down your argument that BluRay has no regard for classic movies.

You fail.
More misinformation and misdirection from TT.

400 films compared to 90,000? Give me a break.

Very few films are good enough to get into the Criterion library. Only the most worthy and exceptional works by film history's best directors are in Criterion's list. Those classic films will be on BluRay.

All 400+ are on DVD at this time. Who's to say that they can't release all 400 on BluRay eventually?
More misinformation from TT.

Criterion has more than 400 films in its library. The initial announcement was only for its first batch of BluRay releases. They can take their time releasing all 400+ in BluRay over the next few years.
For the "old and stale" classics the PS3 demographic can look forward to the Criterion BluRay titles when they come out in October:

Very good news indeed. The Magnavox can be had for $198. A sub-$200 BluRay player is what a lot of people have been waiting for.
This part is very good - "purchase intent to be higher [9%] among the growing population of HDTV owners."

If lower prices are what they're looking for then they should go to their local Walmart starting this weekend.
Chinese manufacturers means sub-$200 2.0 players by next year.

Good news for those looking for inexpensive entry-level BD players.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
