Yes, how many watts again? It should be 1kW. Not 10,000 watts.

And why are these units plugged into the wall? Where's the $100,000 power conditioner?
Let's all calm down a bit. Google Voice (and yes, I have an account too, like the other thousands of geeks) is "Free" to sign up, but as we know, it's not "Free" for AT&T to call your new GV number. It costs you daytime minutes if you call from your iPhone. Unless of course AT&T offered "5 friends you call the most" feature (like other carriers do), and then you could just make your Google Voice number one of the numbers "you call the most". Then it would be "free" not costing you ANY minutes. But let's be clear; GV isn't VoIP.

Can't we all get along?

Sorry for the overuse of quotes.
Remind me how much this DVR will cost me a month? Free you say? Okay, I'm listening. But wait! The price of paying for Time Warner or Comcast goes up every 6 hours, so I'm still screwed either way, right?

Is this product named after a tonic or elixir of some kind?

Even though I'm on this list (because I'm sadly using Comcast due to the fact that DirecTV put their satellites south of my house), does Moxi's marketing department (positioning this thing as the greatest DVR ever made) understand that their product can only be used with crappy over-compressed cable TV stations? Doesn't that make them modest at all?

Hey, at least their set top looks is (another) sleek black box that can vanish into your rack, instead of a hideous ReplayTV 4000 series that offends you with it's swollen silver faceplate.
So help me if there isn't a YouTube app for this beast!

But seriously, it'd be nice if this plasma ran on 120VAC unlike it's roided up 103" brother running on 240VAC.

I bet it's going to look good on G12 glass.
The guys over there with the fuzzy black antennas would be very foolish to release a product at the end of '09 without TiVoToGo, Multi-Room, and other Boxee competitive features. Then again, if it doesn't generate the $, the suits could vote it down. And I'm sure DirecTV would have some say about it, at the end of the day.
Consider this my entry. And it would be nice to get one of these because I travel a bunch, but only use the Mac version of the Sling Software, so it'd be nice to have a little TV from home without using my laptop.

Good day.
The Panny G10 and V10 series are both THX certified, but only the G10 family accepts 24p. I thought that there was a 42" and 46" available also (G10).
AV Receiver, not Pre-Pro.

But Gennum's (Now Sigma Design's) VXP is at the top with the other king - HQV Realta sxT2-200 and sxT-400.

Denon uses this Realta xsT2 design in their outboard scalers along with some other companies.
Andrew,

Don’t worry about people contacting you at MHT, I’m sure you make new friends all the time. You’re a friendly chap! If you’re really curious about how things went down, let’s play a game of multiple guess.

1. Someone hacked your new Verizon Wireless phone and used the VZ Navigator to take over the world!
2. A over zealous ex-girlfriend wanted to get you back for that crappy dinner at Red Lobster, and she told me where to find you.
3. It was the butler!
4. Or, maybe you could just go back and read some of your past posts online, because it was you leaking out info about yourself.

With the number of MHTs that I visit in the course of a year, I’m sure we’ll bump into one another down the road. And if so, I’ve got nothin’ but respect fo ya bro.

And by the way, you're posting at 5:35 AM, 2:47 AM, 12:33 AM, and 12:45 AM? Wow! Get some sleep! I’m on the west coast, so that's my excuse, but geeze. You must watch a lot of Ambien commercials in Standard Definition.
Andrew,

Thank you for a well-mannered discussion both on this board, and over the phone yesterday. Looking you up based on an IP address? I am just reading raw text on a blog board. There’s no IP here, at least none that I can see.

Regarding your quote, “vast majority of people shopping for and purchasing TV's now are and will not be concerned with ensuring that their TV is in line with SMPTE-C standards.” You’re right again; it’s the job of the calibrator to pay attention to standards, not the customer’s job. Isn’t it the customer’s job to figure out what is the better value for their money, and make a buying decision? And no one is putting gasoline in his or her TV, so although it’s true, don’t make such a big deal about the power saving issue. That’s kind of a company line.

I didn’t intend to cover any tracks today, and if I weren’t a few time zones away I would have stopped in to see you and Matt! You and I covered the topics that I wanted us to cover. Next time, ask more questions, and then you’ll be in the conversational drivers seat. Isn’t that part of the CARE process? I believe it’s letter “A”. By the way, how was down-stocking at the end of the day?

As far as the SET training, they had to do that so Best Buy doesn’t loose the product line. Remember what happened to Primare? They’re doing the same thing with Martin Logan. Training one MHT person per district on a specific product line, when employee turn-over is at record levels, isn’t exactly a personnel accomplishment.

Thank you for your time and energy. Good luck on the gift card. Just be patient.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
