Nope just the middle of the road 3 Mb max. I do not have any bundles like cable or phone so my base rate is $54 soon to be $60. I have net flix so I cant go slower,
I think this is a complete scam as well. I dropped Time Warner cable all together and went to Off air HD. It is free and the picture is much better and with a home built HTPC my dvr has a 1.5 TB HD to record HD TV and I don't have to pay $5 or more a month for a crappy 80GB cable DVR.
Oh by the way Time Warner is increasing my Internet rate by $6 a month to $60 a month. There is no programing they have to pay for. What is the excuse to raise the rate? So this is just a PR stunt to place blame elsewhere. If the so called cable networks want John Q Public to watch their programing, well have them broadcast over the air for free. Put Cable out of business or have our government put a stop to monopoly cable companies. America wants a choice and remember the airwaves belong to the American public. Fair competition by offering multiple cable vendors, satellite, U-Verse is how it should be. My City only offers one cable company. We do not have ATT U-Verse or Verzion FIOS. The city next to me has 2 cable companies and the rates are lower.
lots of nice stuff
This card sounds like a great deal. So much so I bought one. All it does is crash my computer. The Tech service from Dvico is marginal and they could not help me. Tech support is via email to Korea. I reloading the software 3 times and finaly Dvico said return the card and get a new one. I bought it at the Cyberstore and I have to pay the shipping back for a defective card. Also note the dual tuner is a great idea along with the PCIe, however the card does not have a built in MPEG2 decoder (hardware) so you can not record or watch analog TV using gbPVR (not supported) this would not be a problem if the Dvico software worked as it should. Oh yeah the EPG on the HDTV7 software does not work either. How can you sell a product like that?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
