It's the lighting that is off. It looks like some 50's plastic model style, indoors, in a department store.

DirecTV adds HD locals in six more markets

El Paso, TX has Fox (14), NBC (9), and CBS (4) in HD locals at this time. Apparently they have disappeared from the guide, though.

Fox and CBS are in 720, NBC in 1080i.

El Paso,TX area is supposed to get HD locals in November. Can't come soon enough.

Too bad those of us on Directv still can't get local channels in HD.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
