Why must people make comments when they have no idea on what the big picture is.

I am in agreement with JinKazama(although I don't think they will drop the price that much by Xmas 2007, maybe $50 off each model?)...

I am guessing that they will scratch the 20GB and instead offer the 60GB with the same features as the 20GB model. The 80GB model will replace the current 60GB model.
Of course I am "guessing" so only time will tell.
They might be expensive but you get what you pay for. You can clearly see a difference in a Sony LCD compared to a Vizio. I'm sure in about a half year or more these will drop in price.
How many times is MS going to contradict themselves before you blind fanboys see the light. This is not the first time that MS said what Sony has in their system is not needed only to go back and try and add those same features. And they still don't add up to what the PS3 has.

Between constantly upgrading their system because they didn't get it right the first time, bricking consoles with their updates, and the red ring of death, it is clearly obvious MS has no idea how to build a good piece of "Hardware".
@3

Exactly!

Sony launched their console the way launches are supposed to be done. They screwed up in the US and had it not been right before Xmas they would have been better off waiting a little while so they could have released more games along side the PS3 at launch and had more consoles available.

Of course fanboys everywhere are reporting that the PS3 launch is lame and nobody wants one. Idiots...

Its damned if you do and damned if you don't. Not enough supply and people whine or a healthy supply and fanboys claim that nobody wants one.
Nick,

It should say up to 6 things in queue, not 5.
Great feature for the PS3!

Too bad fanboys of "that other console" will spin this into a negative.
Damn,

Sorry about the double post.
What many of you fail to realize is that the PS3 is going to be going strong for 8-10 years. They don't need to rush a price drop as of yet. Many people think it is doom for Sony if they don't drop the price yet with the European launch almost here, they will probably have 5 million consoles SOLD worldwide.

That is not too shabby for a 500-600 dollar console.
Just imagine what is going to happen with a price drop?

Funny how only the Xbox fanboys praise this.

This is a freaking ripoff and another reason I purchased a PS3, for 600 I am getting everything I need. Wifi, Blu-Ray, hdmi, 60GB hard drive which is more than enough because I have a PC as well.

You are essentially paying 479 for something that is no different than the Xbox 360 other than it has a larger hard drive and hdmi. No HD-DVD, no Wifi.

What is the point?

And with the PS3 you can upgrade the hard drive if you want, unlike MS.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
