I built mine last year. I just added a second HD Home Run and a second network card for the HD Home Run. Recording 4 shows at once is sweet. Not much chance to do 4 at a time, but 3 at a time is pretty frequent. I think I spent more on the 4TB of hard drive space than I did the mobo and the processor, but having all my favorite movies and TV available through XBox is worth the price. I have one XBox in the living room and one in the bedroom. If I get sleepy while watching a show/movie, I stop it, go to the bedroom, and resume it. It is a nice setup that works well for me.
I love my media center set up. I have 2 HD Home Runs (4 tuners) so I have no recording conflicts. My PC sits in the closet, happily recording whatever OTA programs I want. I use XBox 360s (one in the living room, one in the bedroom) to stream TV and movies around the house. And the media center has 4 TB of storage, so plenty of space for TV and movies. I can't record cable or satellite (yet), but I'm not missing it much. Plenty of HD for me. I think the best thing is being able to stop a program in one room and start it back up in another room.
Awaken is a great alarm clock. You can set the volume you want it to use when waking you up, use iTunes or sounds, and even gradually fade the screen up to slowly wake you up.

Also, the remote works as a snooze bar. Well worth the $13. The link is in the article.
I wonder if their video feed has any compression artifacts or if those are only for the customers?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
