Digital Cowboy rebrands Mvix products (which the Xtreamer is) in Japan.
With the new firmware it can do 24fps playback (http://bit.ly/1842At), and out of the box does DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD passthrough (http://bit.ly/hY9HP).

It does more than a PCH at $100 less, and is planned to get firmware updates twice a month. It's not without it's share of problems (they just launched and are working out some issues), but it's very promising.

I think it was well worth the $169 shipped.
Xtreamer (http://www.xtreamer.net). Just released on July 1 and is very promising. I own one myself and love it. It has its share of bugs, but they're putting out new firmware and very responsive to feedback.

It's $168 shipped to the US (99 Euros + 20 Euros shipping), and does more than the WD TV and can do a little more than the PCH, but is $100 cheaper.

Only on Linux and only on Nvidia GPUs.
Only on Linux and only with Nvidia hardware.
"One thing that should be noted is that the ION 330-BD doesn't support HD audio pass-through for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, only regular DVD audio such as Dolby Digital 5.1 and others that use 640kbit rate audio. It will still playback these audio tracks on your Blu-ray discs, but compressed down"

No, but the chipset supports 7.1 multichannel LPCM over HDMI with software like PowerDVD 8.
Bigger capacity, THX certification, Glo-remote and a $600 price tag.. so basically a cheaper Seried 3 and not worth it.
The only thing it's missing is DivX support, which it has had on all of its players.
Doesn't work.

"The address that you provided did not contain a calendar in a valid iCal format."

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
