FYI, I'm watching Directv on a Samsung Series 6 Touch of Color lcd television and not a Vizio. Results are still the same, Directv's high definition offerings a highly compressed and crappy compared to my previous cable television providers' signals (TWC in San Antonio and Cox Cable in New Orleans). Directv is all about quantity and not quality in my opinion.
Great, I'm sure all of those "crisp" HD channels are going to look over compressed and crappy just like the majority of my Directv high definition channels.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
