Oh how thrilling! Now we can ALL have that "just bedazzled my gadget" sensation, with all the hard work! Giggles! *puke*. The crystal thing is repulsive on almost everything, why do people think it looks anything other than gaudy and repulsive?
The taxes are a way to try and keep people buying stuff that is made in Brazil... the result is that anything having to do with technology is damn expensive.
Damn that thing and its commercial are a hot mess. Even the older guy in the commercial was like "kill me now." Man, if people thought the Wiimote was boring, trying running in place with a Blobo in your pocket...
People will have a twisted view of physics no matter what you do. If you give an average minded person the choice between ridiculous fiction that makes sense to them/they can understand, and a truth that is too complicated for them, they'll always choose the one that makes them feel smarter.
@Jim I thought about that too - the imperfection is bound to be repeated eventually, and with how many RFIDs are produced, I can't think it would take THAT long to happen.
@Teerim is that why the bible is so damn hard to decode?
@ob22 What what whattttttttttttttt???????? What are the rules that do that to you? I knew the Canadian wireless industry was a club of rapists but not that bad.
I had a professor who used one of these. She was so good at using it. The Bluetooth she used to connect a GPS receiver so she knows where she is if needed. Since it has a refreshable braille display she used to read quotes and take attendance with it. It really is a godsend for her. I think she did say that there were some settings her assistant had to set by connecting it to a monitor...
Yes, I think so.
I echo the "3Com, wtf?" statements. I haven't heard anything about them since I was 8 y/o having a nervous breakdown trying to install an ISA network card into our Packard Bell with a 100mhz Pentium. ARgggggggggg...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
