Nobodys mentioned that it's 1" thin. That combined with the better image than LCD (other than maybe the XBR8 and the Samsung 950), and the wireless HDMI should make this a real winner for those who aren't drawn to LCD like moths to a flame for it's waaaay to bright pictures in the stores. I've been in the TV bizz for 10 years, and still prefer plasma. That preference is confirmed every night when I watch my Sammy FPT-5084.
.
.Every day, all day, while everybody is at work, I'm looking at and comparing LCD and plasmas.

@ bachivet... Have you taken a look at the 7 series Samsung plasmas? And no, I don't work for Samsung.
Yea. Lets spend money integrating bluetooth for one device. Puhhleease.
If this does for Blu-ray what the DVD-S2700 did for upconverting players, it should be a fantasic piece.

And to David. What sort of testing have you done with say, the DVD-S1800 or DVD-S2700? It seems all you do is bash products without so much as one tecnical fact. So my advise to you is to STFU.
I'd love to see a Harmony One control my 4 zone, 6 source system. Not gonna happen. And no RF? Definately not gonna happen.

URC has forgotten more about remotes than Harmony will ever learn.

BRUZER... LMAO

Harmony fanboys. Go back to the kids table. The grownups are talking here.
The RX-V3900 and the RX-Z7 both support iTunes tagging, as well as Rhapsody and HD radio. They also have 2 HDMI outs (simultanious)
As for the BD-2900 supporting SACD/DVD Audio... Yea, let's sink money into formats that were dead before they even got going. And BTW, they've made their DVD machines in-house for the last 2 generations.
Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're an asshole, than to open it and prove it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
