Would love to win!
I don't think there's such things as MPEG-4 VC-1...
No, no, no, don't be fooled by the commercial. Directv doesn't have any kind of HD here in the south of the continent. I don't know if there's even a plan for rolling HDTV in South America.

The only thing they're doing is using Dolby 5.1 in some premium channels, but they are not offering decoders with digital sound output (nor optical or coaxial) so we're stuck with stereo.
That's actually not true.

A cable operator in Brazil is launching its HD transmissions with the world cup.

You shouldn't be complaining. Here, Directv latin america doesn't even have a DVR option, let's not even talk about HDTV... not even Digital Audio outputs!

An we don't have alternatives, at least in Argentina (it's Directv or just standard analog cable).

Yes, I know, we're living in the stone age...

(Well, at least we have OTA HDTV)
Actually, if something "is Spanish" is from a country called Spain.

If something "is in Spanish"... that's another thing, I think you meant that.
My vote is for the Sub-grand WMCE series. I'm also building a MCE computer, so it's very useful for me. http://www.hdbeat.com/2005/11/27/sub-grand-wmce-3-hdtv-tuner/
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
