Microsoft is a software company. I'm sure they'd love to power the operating system for Sony's PS3. seriously. get out of the hardware business, which is more difficult to make money off of, and power the "platform" from the software perspective, much as they do with Windows. this would be a fantastic way for them to realize that dream. Sony clearly isn't getting it with the software portion; perhaps they would be happy to produce the hardware (arguably the PS3 is a better system, if more powerful = better.)

with the midas touch, I'd turn any and every Blu-ray player into a Gold-ray player. "Blu" isn't even spelled right, and it doesn't do justice to the quality of picture and sound.

I saw the new Apple ads on AOL Music today... and I have to say that if I see ONE more dancing silhoutte, I think I'm going to hurl. am I the only one who's really bored with the ipod? Iphone is great, but it's still a phone, not primarily a media player.

I friggin love my zune. my bro installed vista via bootcamp on his macbook pro JUST so that he could get the Zune80 with ZunePass. I love the new social features integrated right into the player!

When are we going to get free advertiser supported downloads? My agency represents Million$ of dollar$ that would love to jump on that bandwagon for sure. it's only a matter of time.
