@knight3058 all of those cables are for sending your signal out from the imac, not the other way around.
@ryanknapp i'm not buying a wii! who in the hell came up with that name?
you'd of course would have to con a family member into switching discs for you all the time too.
can you please stop using the misleading term "on contract"? technically speaking, i'm "on contract" right now as i signed a new 2-year last year. but i won't be able to get the droid for $199, right?
$100 versus free? i'll take free.
this is considerably cheaper. playon is $40-$50 depending on when you buy it. plus you need to run a computer all the time (electricity). for me at least, playon has always been pretty buggy. this is a much more elegant solution.
ever think maybe they say "spring 2010" because the release date isn't firm yet, and spans the possibility of either march, april, or may of 2010?
the only problem with playon is that it's windows only. otherwise, i'd totally dig it.
you mean "welcome to 2002, at&t" right?
so say we all.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
