In the DC and Baltimore area, a lot of us can no longer receive Channels 7, 9, 11 and 13 since these channels moved to digital VHF frequencies. Rescanning our tvs has not resolved the problem.
Here in the Baltimore/DC, OTA DT is fine except for 7 (DC ABC), 9 (DC CBS), 11(Balt NBC) and 13 (Balt ABC) whose DT signals have gone dark. I rescanned my hdtvs this afternoon and lost the signals. The digital signals were available this morning.
I caught the tail end of the noon broadcast. The audio was not set up properly. I heard the voices of the newscasters coming out of the surround speakers, not the front center speaker
This story reminds me of my father. I bought a color tv after watching a football in color at a friend's house. He watched the game on Sunday and bought the color tv on Monday
Per the DirecTV guide, these programs will be on standard definition Channel 239, not high definition Channel 101
