Anybody who pays a whopping $150 for an HDMI cable obviously deserve to be ripped off. I paid $7 for my HDMI cable. Even at Wal Mart the cables are a rip off.
I've never even heard of Kaleidascape. Or any of the other 3 "high-end" companies that Casey made mention of in his post. Besides I doubt the supposed better av quality is that discernable to the eyes & ears.

What exactly is better about the picure from a Samsung BR player and a Kaleidascape BR player???
I've had my Blu-Ray player since June and I still haven't bought one single BD disk at a local retailer, they're just too, too much. I do all my BD buying on either Amazon or ebay, no taxes on top of the price, plus orders over $25 have free shipping with Amazon. So no business for either Wal Mart or Best Buy from me, seems like Best Buy is way, way more expensive, like $8 difference with Amazon.
Is it GSM? Ooh I'd like to get it unlocked! I used to own a Sharp V903 that was unlocked. Now I use an unlocked Nokia N95-3.
I have the Samsung P1500, and have no internet hooked up to my BD player, so therefore I shouldn't have a problem, right?!!!!?

I orded mine from Amazon, and haven't recieved mine yet.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
