Was talking to a guy at Vizi before I went out to get my new XVT and he said they had a new service that would text when they had price drops, so I figured that could be useful!

Text VIZIO to 44144 and follow the instructions.

Good for the shopping process especially today, but I'll let know on the XVT, my buddy has one and once you tweak the settings it looks as good or better than my Samsung.

I was disappointed not to see deals on Vizio, but maybe they'll come out closer to the day of? I've been keeping an eye on them for when I want to buy my first HDTV, but I did see their 32" went on sale at Sears, so maybe Wal-mart isn't the place to get the deals this Black Friday. Certainly doesn't look that way from what they're posting now!
I have the Vizio SV420XVT, but thinking I might just need to upgrade too. I called Vizio to ask about a couple of shipping options and the guy told me that it also has TruSurround HD which is pretty cool and makes me want it more...maybe Christmas?
I have to say it looks similar, but I like the white bezel. I think it suits the eco-smart - very clean and crisp looking. If I can save some money on my electric bill as well as get a nice HDTV I'm always for it. Love my other Vizio VO32L, so I might just have to check this out for xmas.
I have the SV420XVT and it has been great. The picture quality is fantastic and for the price I just couldn't find anything that came close to the features and extended warranty options that I got with mine. Vizio also was great with their customer service on the few little things I called to ask about. I think it's a great TV.
I'm glad to see that even high-end electronics companies are taking into consideration the environment. I might have to check out their Eco TV for Christmas. Nothing like a good move by a company to use an excuse for a new TV!
That was the old models of Vizio, I've had both and now love my non-problematic SV420XVT and can't say enough about the picture quality and great warranty options they offered me when I got it (just in case). 1080p and 120hz is amazing and you just can't beat the value: performance ration.
I agree. As long as the technology is good, which Vizio's is, then what's the problem with some choices in color. Apple certainly has capitalized on it!
Thanks Vizio. I like that there are finally options now in terms of fitting your technology in with design in your home instead of always being stuck with the same black TV.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
