I've got one: "useless for the next couple of years"
I unfortunately have to agree with this.

TUAW is horrible.
Plan to fix the world economy: Engadget recession antidotes
...yes, the carrier is tied to the subscriber's SIM card, not the phone's firmware. There's no reason for it to have an AT&T SIM "from the factory".
Are you guys serious? Why would a Chinese iPhone be using AT&T?
Dear Comcast Driver,

We owe you a big apology. On Tuesday, April 21, 2009 you experienced a significant disruption of our road service. While you may or may not have been affected, we want to explain what happened.

The problem was caused by you not reading a "no parking" sign, probably because you thought you didn't need to. Fortunately, this disruption did not affect your ability to access the road, and no Comcast vans were lost. However, you may have noticed there was a significant delay in starting and moving your van, which has been fitted with a boot. If you're interested in reading more about the mechanical issues you'll face and the proactive steps we've taken to help ensure this doesn't happen again, please read the post we have on our corporate blog at http://www.comcastvoices.com/2009/04/smart-zone-followup.html.

We understand the critical nature of travel in most people's lives and deeply regret the disruption that you may have experienced. This is not the level of road service we strive to provide, and we are working harder than ever to improve it going forward.

Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,

The City of Chicago
I have DirecTV, and I've had Comedy Central HD for the past week or so (channel 249). Maybe a test in my market? I'm in West Palm Beach, FL.
You guys should update the article, it definitely supports streaming in HD; it's even adaptive quality like ABC's web viewer.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
