this looks awesome, i just wish they come out with an 8 tuner version (i think that 8 tuners is the limit for a single M-Card). That way you can watch live TV in 4 rooms with each room having 2 tuners available. This thing better have at least a 1 TB drive and expansion via eSATA and/or USB 2.0.........

Although, I'm sure they'd charge something ridiculous for an 8 tuner version......
i want Google Maps to be seperated from the Apple firmware updates so Google can update Maps more often than Apple upgrades the iPhone firmware......I want more detailed metadata for transit directions that's available in the regular webpage but's not currently available for iPhone (stuff like train line/bus line logos and detailed Transit Operator info with prices (where available) and bus/train stop locations via Stop ID's for agencies that support this...)
I demand an Android OS update for my PCH A-110!!!
i don't agree with it but i AM VERY glad that in my market NBC, FOX, and ABC all plan to go digital on the original date of Feb 17. I wish there was a requirement for the Low-Power stations to go digital too since in my market the MyNetworkTV affiliate is a LP station......
favorite CES product: VIP922 that is Slingloaded
will Fios ever come to an area served by Qwest telephone service???
here's to place shifting in Warsaw, Poland!
for internet: absolutely if price was the near what I pay now ($50/month for 10 Mbps Down via Charter)

for TV: if they had all of the HD channels i get now that i watch (HDnet, HDnet Movies, FX, TLC, A&E, Bio, Crime & Investigation, Discovery, History, Palladia, Food Network, and a few others) and ones that i don't get now that i would really like (full suite of HBO/Cinemax, Encore, AMC, Fuse, IFC, &Travel Channel) and price was same or less than what I have now (DirecTV) i would switch in a heartbeat!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
