Anyone hear if the 6.5 rom for the Samsung Jack is coming anytime soon? Was supposed to be the first phone around upgradable to 6.5, and I have to say, it's probably gonna be a while. I feel a little cheated.
nah, and I hope it doesn't. I am using a samsung jack right now, still waiting on the update from samsung, but the zune interface is soooo much sleeker. WinMo 7 will be awesome when that comes around, and I'm looking forward to getting my phone up to 6.5 soon. WinMo 6.1 on the jack seems dated, I want something flashy and STABLE!
Ok, that is NEVER going to fit up there.
@Angel

sorry, but text messages will never strain a network. the fact that they charge so much for going over a limit is absolute ludicrous. when you keep a text under 160 characters, that blip adds up to nothing, even considering all the other members of the network doing the same thing. It's the pandora/last.fm streaming that will destroy reliability of the network much sooner. These services don't make sense on a large network right now, it's something that should have been introduced in 3-4 years, when that data would be relatively less as compared to the capacity of the network.
hmmmm, hopefully this bold is actually affordable. Rather happy with my Samsung Jack, but kinda wish I could have given that beautiful screen a spin instead.
HEY! All 3 sidekick owners are really upset, but still very trendy.
I threw out all my smoke detectors, but I think the aliens can still hear me. The aluminum foil hats won't help anymore, the voices won't get out of my head.
also, just for reference, an order of magnitude is 10x a value.

i.e., 3 orders of magnitude = 10^3

Pretty amazing tech, I just wonder how long til it reaches consumers. Y'all should know by not that a nuclear battery would be plenty safe, the word nuclear doesn't imply nuclear holocost. especially since these are so small.
100,000 times more power in the same size. Hope that helps.
@darren

I was with you until purple monkey dishwasher.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
