No update for DVD Studio Pro; still at Version 4. So they updated all the apps but one. That sucks.
I bought one last weekend and I love it! I does have an NTSC tuner built in, but not an ATSC digital tuner. No problem, I just bought an Artec Mini USB 2.0 Digital TV Tuner (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=324900) and now I can watch (and record) OTA HDTV on my laptop as well as Blu-ray DVDs.
Hey Guru, wake up and pay attention!
Only the HDR-UX1 has the recording limits you speak of. The HDR-SR1 records to a built-in 30gig hard drive and can record for much longer than 15-32 (or 27-60) minutes.

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
