the other part of the equation that noone thinks about

The paradox that the more Volts on the road the less gas will be used by US.. which will keep the price of gas low!

so the cost of ownership by individuals will actually go up a bit with more Volts on the road

but the benefits to society if a large percentage of vehicles move to Electric will be huge and long lasting which is never brought up in the arguments for owning a Volt.
if you look at on IMDB Episode 11 has a Trick or Treater in list of cast

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1484250/

So that means Episode 11 is Halloween

which leaves two episodes to get to Nov 22

The pace of this season hasn't quite been an episode a month so it is totally up in the air whether we get to Nov 22nd or stop just short

Congress can just pass a new amendment that ups the tax credit to 15k for cars that get more than 229 MPG.

this would reduce the price of the volt to 25k

please me
I am mystified why none of the nettop makers (or apple) do not include blu rays in their home media computers.. it is the next purchase for many

including a blu ray would make me pull the trigger on something like this
who cares about semantics?

GM figured out what the EPA is going to give their car and released the info
I think this happens ALL the time with new vehicles.

I wouldn't be surprised if GM figured that Volt will get more and fudge the number LOWER.

regardless GM just got millions and millions of dollars of free advertising yesterday
instead of a handful of car/green bloggers knowing about the Volt. the whole world knows about the Volt today. The Car that is going to get 230 MPG.

incredible marketing on GM's part

Looks like the Volt is rated to get 50 MPG which is about what the new Prius gets.

obviously noone plans to run out of juice.. I think the cell phone analogy is apt.. actually more like an Iphone - I have an iphone and there were many times where I ended up being out and about the whole day and ended up with a dead iphone. it is frustrating -

Until the range of electrics increases and the recharging of the battery reduced to under 5 minutes, electrics will be neglected to delivery vans and environmentally conscious users.

The Volt is a practical solution to real world situations -- I think it will be a the first EV to win over the mainstream.

I don't get all the electric car love -- all it will take to douse the hype of all electric carsis a few stories of electric car owners having to get towed to their homes because they ran out of juice... meanwhile the Volt owner just has to pull into a gas station.

I am curious to know the MPG of a Volt if you don't ever plug it in? has GM revealed that number?
disagree with this one -- I thought Zoey's character comes off as totally underwritten and unsympathetic.

Also the adult sounding advice full younger sister - the dumb neighbor and drunk co worker were all right out of romantic comedy central casting.

This is a mediocre movie wrapped up in hipster indie wrapping
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
