I do judge you. Verdict: downvote.
These types of cuts are made to keep the stock price up and the investors happy. Publicly traded companies can't just be profitable, they have to MORE profitable. If they just maintain the same amount of profit, investors pull out. So, in order to increase profits, they decide to cull their employees every so often to create a false sense of growth. Then the remaining employees have to shoulder more of the load at the same pay, and just be happy they still have a job.
@NaeemTHM Watching the video, he does say "since this is an xbox live game" which seems to indicate that it might be playable on xbox 360 and WP7S devices. If that's the case, I really don't see why they wouldn't offer a WP7S device with physical controls.
@DCBlack: That's kind of the point. You don't like basketball, yet you like NBA Jam. I like basketball, but I got tired of NBA Jam 15 years ago. It's a game that's directed at a different audience than the sim NBA games.
I'm not saying one is better than the other, just that there's a market for both.
Agreed. I wonder if someone will come out with a windows phone 7 series device with actual controls? I suppose it would fragment the user base, but it might be possible.
If they get their iphone/ipad app working with some passable control scheme, I could see more people signing up. Even though the buttonless controls would be less than ideal, being able to continue a game you started at home on your phone, with the exact same graphics, & gameplay would be pretty sweet.
So, can I have just the DLC if I eat it with my hands?
@Peter Moore (or Less): Obviously Joystiq hasn't changed. After all, they still let you post.
Yeah, and I can't stop thinking of the line said Josh on the MWC podcast:
"I am Meego, the alien!"
So somebody straps a wiimote to a portable sewing machine and everybody craps themselves? Easy room...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for the best geotagging camera currently available. The most important feature for me is the accuracy of the GPS module, so any hard specs on satellite receiver would be really useful. Thanks for your time!"
