Considering that the PS3 is basically the ONLY device that uses a stupid Bluetooth remote, it doesn't make too much sense to include it in every Harmony remote (unless everyone wants to pay $20 more for every Harmony remote).

Besides, it seems clear that the party-in-the-wrong is SONY. The short-sighted and penny-pinching move to not include an IR port on the PS3 has created a (well-deserved) furor against Sony. It's obvious that they did this to (1) force you to buy their special remote and (2) save (literally) a few bucks in production costs. This decision was the latest in a long line of force-you-to-waste-more-money moves by Sony.

Finally, it's really not correct to call this adapter a "dongle" since it doesn't connect via wired connection to the PS3.
Kath & Kim does suck. They should absolutely cancel it. Their best show is (far and away) "Chuck"....yet for some reason people would rather watch "Dancing with the Has-Beens." Difficult to understand.
Classic case of wanting for the world for next to nothing. Nobody wants to pay subscription fees, yet they want a perfect DVR device. Just buy the TiVo HD -- worth every penny.
Woo hoo!! Nothing like pissing away a half a billion in taxpayer dollars to accomplish absolutely nothing.
About time for the return of Chuck. NBC is almost dooming it to failure....giving it an inexplicable 7-week hiatus in favor of crap like Momma's Boys and Howie Do It, then pitting it against House.

NBC sucks.
It's probably even tougher finding a bedroom-sized HDTV (19"-26") worth owning. I've never found a suitable replacement for my Dell W1900, which is still kicking strong (yet sorely lacks HDMI inputs).
I've got swag from Super Bowl XXXIV and swag from the 2006 World Series....but I've never gotten any CES swag to grace my collection.
Maybe this is a good thing....this might get the ball rolling in getting the NFL to remove their ridiculously arcane blackout rules.
Addition by subtraction. They "added" 772 (Golf HD) by taking away Versus/Golf HD (the previous channel 772). In other words, they took away the Versus HD without adding it elsewhere. Golf HD is completely worthless, while Versus HD has some value (specifically, hockey in HD).

The useless Golf HD goes along well with Weather Channel HD (channel 794), another useless channel. Makes you wonder who makes the selections on which channels to suck up valuable bandwidth (Charter in St. Louis does NOT use SDV - yet).

Charter in St. Louis has, of course, also been without CBS in HD due to the dispute between greedy Belo and Charter and is now going to lose the standard definition feed as well (see: http://www.kmov.com/charter/).

Now, the good news: supposedly Charter is supposed to add MLB Network HD, USA HD, and Sci-Fi HD in January....no word on any possible rollout of SDV yet.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
