I rent Blu-ray movies from time to time and have yet to have a problem with scratches or cracks. I doubt it is a problem with their sorting machines. I generally don't have problems with DVDs either. I think subscribers just need to take better care of them.

Favorite Announcement was the LG Watch Phone. Not because its cool but because I think that is it something that is a waste of time. Who wants a watch phone? It should come with a bluetooth headset otherwise it is worthless. Anyway, I hope I win those movies!
