got an old Dell Inspiron 2400, aka bottom of the line at the time. Spent $300 to get it in decent condition, but it's definitely lagging in the times :)
Hello Halo 3!
I totally understand why they aren't including planes. This decision very well could have saved them tons of money and lawsuit problems. Very very smart decision. Who would let a criminal drive a plane in New York? Exactly. I do wish they had some sort of flying involved like a hang glider.

As for the rest of that information, It's pretty standard. I was literally just thinking about when they would unleash some information about the game, considering it's only about 6 months from release. One thing I'd like to know though, do we *have* to eat like in San Andreas? Its not a problem really, it just felt out of place because of how infrequently you had to do it.

I'm really looking forward to this one, I've never been to NYC and if I don't get to visit this summer, I'll have a "virtual visit" some time this October :)
Yep, it's not a rumor. I have the "faulty controller." It's not that messed up, at least for the whammy bar part, I just have to bang on it real hard. It's like it only has on and off, no in between for different bended sounds. Not a big deal for me, I wish it worked like it's supposed to but oh well.
Just pause the game and leave the system on, that's what my friend does anyways :P
PS Gamer - "in Feb. you will see some pretty cool things from Sony I can assure you that...Well since the date has not yet been told to the general public, I'll just say its between the 12th - 18th Around then." – SCEA Employee
Cory Barlog – “big conference next month” “I will be able to talk about the game I working on pretty soon” – Sony SM Employee
Seb Downie – "Not long now for some news. Not long now - Guerrilla Game tester"

February is the month for PS3 my friends, just sit back and relax.
Actually, to me that bar in the upper right hand corner seems to be a controller. It says the number 1 right next to it, and is colored blue. See the crosshair, its blue as well. Maybe for each different player it adds another bar on the right with a different colored bar and crosshair
Heck yea! These are some great TV's, I will probably be picking up the 26 incher during the fall
Okay, please listen up everyone, even Joystiq editors.

At the Sony E3 press conference, they put up a schedule for their next year or so.

Nowhere is it mentioned that PS3 will be huge at CES. Reasons? Look again, guess what? February 2006, there is a Playstation Festival. What do you know :) It would make no sense to reveal anything substatial about the PS3 at CES when a month later they will have ALL the limelight at the Playstation Conference.

Sony had a Playstation conference for the PS2 as well, and 20 days later it was released in Japan. I can bet we'll see the same thing.

The PS3 will be released in Japan, North America and Europe in 2006. There is no way Sony would push it back to 07.

Please take note of this, and don't say that Sony's next chance is E3, because we have the PS Conference coming next month.
Well, there's always Stringer's speech tommorow morning. Weren't we promised "significant presence" for the PS3 at CES back at E3? Hmm, well that sucks big time if they don't show any new stuff until next month's Playstation Meeting
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
