Runco died when Planar bought them a couple years ago. Since then Planar has struggled to capture the growth that they expected from the Runco brand. Hats off to Sam Runco for selling at the peak of the market that he helped create.
I was a B&O dealer for decades, but no longer have to put up with their corporate arrogance. It appears that they are continuing to sell underperforming and overpriced product that just looks good but is 2-5 years behind the current technology we can purchase in the US. B&O america has no ability to deliver products that the US market really wants. As I was told a B&O exec from Denmark many years ago, "the US represents only 10% of our market" so how can we build products that the US market thinks are important. The company and its US subsidiaries are rarely profitable and they have bankrupted countless dealers and other suckers that "invest" in purchasing a B&O store. Hopefully this recession will finally put them out of business.
Any idea if and when Verizon might offer the Pre?

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
