Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
However my problem comes in DivX files which are obviously not playable on the iPhone/iPod Touch. I don't want to convert these files as lossy > lossy is a big no-no and I don't really want artifacts on my HDTV.
Right now I have it set up so DivX files use the DivX Web Player when the browser accesses the file, however that will not work on the iPhone.
That stated I want to know if there is a way to have VLC transcode on the fly to the iPod Touch/iPhone. Any ideas?
