Whaaaa... and no love for Clerks and Chasing Amy? Boohoo to you too.
Epic Fail @ no mention of the LA Galaxy vs Chivas USA MLS playoff game.
I would buy Smallville Season 8 but at $50... I'll wait. Especially since I only paid $20ish for Season 7.
ESPN (720p) has the Brett Favre Vikings Conference at 6 PM EST.
Reading some of the comments posted about "I just want my HDTV filled" makes me really weap for the future. Don't like the black bars? Use the zoom feature and quit complaining. Me... give me the intended OAR or nothing.
Ask Bonnie Hunt that since she was the one who put ECW on SyFy.
KSTP Channel 5 (ABC) here in the Twin Cities has also gone HD with their news.
Actually its six games a year. Plus NFL Network carries all the preseason games on tape delay which is handy for your teams out of your market (Patriots fan here). Also I enjoy Total Access for news around the league along with the number of other programs they run year round as well. Heck their coverage of the draft was far better than the joke coverage that was on ESPN. So to me the channel is worth having.
You know I don't like paying for SoapNet on my digital cable subscription yet somehow I do just so I can have access to channels I do care about. Too bad the cable companies are too afraid of ala cart. I for one would totally love that so I would only pay for what I want... which yes includes NFL Network.
Off topic but I see I'm not the only "Demolition Man" here on Engadget lol.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
