I'd love to win this... it's time for a new laptop!
It was the thought that counted :)
"m$'s "

That's new and creative.
Do people actually believe him? Denial = confirmation.
Heck no. I'm just a noob that has no clue about what I'm doing. I have a friend that could probably jailbreak the phone for me but he has a track record of breaking the electronics he is working on (he managed to blow out his tv and sound system while modding an xbox).
Unfortunately I can't open the link from work (blocked), but reading around I don't really understand it all. I've seen people talk about getting stuck with tethered jailbreaks and some seem to indicate that that is what happens if you jailbreak from the current firmware version, rather than updating your previously jailbroken phone.

I don't want to bother trying this if I'm going to have to constantly plug my phone into my computer.
Ah, just re-read the article. So this is Unlock only... no jailbreak yet?
Can anyone link me to a walkthrough on how to jailbreak my phone? This is my first iphone and my first attempt at jailbreaking. I'm dying to get soem custome themes and backgrounder...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
