Gotta go with the HTPC comment. Media Center loaded up with RadioTime (free) and you're all set. Use it almost every day now.
Fixing the world economy is easy. Just take the money from all the Banks and give it to Ben so he can get this Beniverse thing off the ground.
I'll take it. Got me how to fix the economy but I know handing free money to banks and car companies won't do it.
Same here but Zune software only shows about 42 minutes. Well, it shows that the show is 1:18:59 but actual show time is only 42:30.
I have to imagine the numbers are fairly accurate. The ones showing above are within 2 or 3 dBm of what I was told I should get when I called several local stations. For all I know they were just using the same map, but that's what they go by for signal strength in a location.
While I can't disagree with the pricing issue, I think there are a few things that don't jive in the article. Number 1, while an extender might be a stand alone box, that box has the potential to replace several others under a TV in your home. Case in point: my sons have a playroom television with a DMA-2100 hooked to it. Since that's tied to a Media Center PC, they have live TV, recorded TV, DVD access, Music (yeah, we have some kids music ripped) and even pictures if they want it. Oh, and with a plugin, they can also watch content from our netflix queue, Hulu programming and other kids shows online.

So with one box, I've replaced a DVD player, Roku Box, DVR, and some sort of music player...not really adding boxes here.

Using a 360 is of course a better solution. Better extender and you get games so again, the pricing is totally off on these boxes. But that's not to say they're worthless. Oh, and mine is wireless. Wonky? Once in awhile, but utterly unreliable? Nope. Working right now and just fine.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, no amount of restriction will stop an online community from finding a way. It happens all the time. I wonder when CableLabs (along with the RIAA, MPAA and others) will figure it out?

Nothing they do will stop people from getting to the content and bypassing their rules
This does make it so that my wife won't fight so much on laying out the cash for the antenna we need so we can cut cable. This is the only soap she watches so she should be happy. Oh wait, that's if she can tell the difference...
LOL well I won't lie, I don't understand all the jargon either. These are shows that have been redone as the first file wasn't the highest quality, etc. The thing is, while they're rare, they show up even with a good filter on the search. I was wondering if you've had any pop up on you yet and what you do when they do. Does it mess up the naming structure at all?
Also, I ran the search you show above. How do you handle repacks/Propers?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
