Does anyone remember a show called "Max Headroom"?

Giant media conglomerates running the world...
I am starting to think this show is not for me. I have no idea who that pop singer was.

The larger problem is the questionable use of the stones. There should be a constant flow of experts visiting to catalog and analyze the ship. At the same time the "crew" should be back on earth learning all they can about ancient tech. It appears most of the "crew" is unqualified to be in this situation, so train them while getting more experts on board!
WOW! You have obviously never worked at a cinema. When I was a GM, it was bad enough dealing with the noisy patrons (back before cell phones were in everyone's pocket). Giving someone license to wander through auditoriums is not going to enhance the movie watching experience for anyone.

Stupid.
Disappointed so far. I have been watching SG since the beginning and SG-1 was getting a little tough to watch for a while. SG-A was a fresh turn with slightly more likable characters. This one...I could not think of one character I liked. Even Ming-Na turned me off. And I was thinking the same thing about the shuttle door...use the Keno!!! HELLO?!?! I will give it a few episodes...hoping it's not the next "Bionic Woman"...

To all the religious comments...you really should not be watching TV unless you want to see sex, violence, hate, etc. That is what sells...look at the number one comedy on TV...Two and a Half Men. It is the same sex/fighting plot every week...and it is number one for how long now?
Yes, please.
Yes, please.
I'm going to have to agree as well. I have been very disappointed with extenders. I have 1 primary and 3 secondary HTPCs all running W7RC. The primary records ATSC and is connected via HDMI. One of the secondaries records QAM, another records component via HDPVR with DVB-link and FireSTB and is connected via DVI, and the last is just for playback in the workout area connected via DVI. Homegroup makes it easy to share all of the recorded files. The primary also plays back bluray via Total Media Extreme. This is not as elegant as being embedded in the 7MC interface, but it works and the MC remote provides play/pause/stop functionality in TME. None of my movies are torrents so although this piece is informative, it is not really as useful as one that would help me get those blurays on my hard drive and playing inside 7MC.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
