Hasn't Netgear had these for a while now. Not sure why we need them, I watched HD over the 85Mbps rated Netgears and it was perfect.
I found "Vista CableCARD Media Center PCs - what do you want to know?" to be interesting at the time; and now its even more interesting because it's become so irrelevant due to the development of online media sites like Hulu and Netflix. As a small business owner who got screwed by the high cost of including CableCARD in machines, i hope the cable companies all go bankrupt because of the internet TV.

I canceled cable a while back, replacing it with OTA HD and internet media. Never looking back.
i want . . . you give . . . now
The economy?

1. American's need to focus on emerging technologies in alternative energy, become leaders in world, then start to distribute the tech throughout the world. This will lessen our dependence on foreign resources while creating jobs in research, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and other sectors. This would also bolster America's "brand" or "image" and lead to better economic growth

2. America needs to keep manufacturing plants and jobs here in our country by taxing foreign imports from countries that are not up to our standard of environmental law and human rights. At the same time we have to break unions which keep wages at a level that leads to shutdowns and moving of plants to foreign countries.

3. American companies need to get smarter about multi-million dollar bonuses that are paid to already overpaid failures. This will free capital that can be distributed to thousands of other employees, in the form of higher wages or small bonuses. Better to have 1000 people buying a new whatever, than 5 guys buying. the company iteslf would be more economically viable, while at the same time feeding the economy on a larger scale.

4. We need to let failing companies fail, so that taxpayers aren't forced to bail out weak un-innovative, greed based companies. Other, most successful, innovative companies will fill the gaps, which will lead to more economically sound decisions. One example of this is the American Automotive industry, which sat by for decades selling inferior products and failing to innovate. Americans eventually caught on and now they are in trouble. Let them fail, so that they can reinvent themselves or some group can take over and redirect the failing strategies that have taken over.

5. Mortgages need to be regulated in favor of home buyers and builders, and not bankers. Mortgages should not start out with over 90% of payments going to interest. This is a scam at best and needs to change. It creates a situation where it is very difficult for average Americans to build wealth because most of there earnings go to pay mortgage companies, and actual ownership of the home increase extremely slowly.
Axel,

you can do hulu now with PlayON. I use it on my 360 everyday.

Have fun with that . . .
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
