The Warthog. Wish I had one in our crazy L.A. traffic.
Umm... yep. In fact Epson introduced the worlds first true laptop that was considered portable in November 1981... the Epson_HX-20. They also make digital cameras.
"Good grief, the guy looks like a mormon." And you point J.Goodwin?

What if he is mormon or just looks like one... does that really matter?!

If I said "Good grief, your look like a negro (based on your avatar)" I would be accused of being a bigot, now wouldn't I ?! And rightly so.

Lets keep prejudice and bigotry off this blog.
"I can just see you now, wallowing in your own pathetic glee because you clowned a 28 year old who works at Best Buy/Magnolia"

But he did do a job at it, I must say.
Already returned my HD-DVD (to BestBuy) within the 60 day (extended Holiday) return policy, which ended 2-weeks ago. All my discs (7) were purchased as CostCo and were returned as of last week.

As a PS2 and XBox360 owner, a PS3 could be possible. But not until a firmware upgrade that lets PS3 output pure bitstream via HDMI (DTS-HD MA Bitstream for example). Hell, I might even accept internal encoding output (of DTS-HD MA) as LPCM via HDMI (as my Onkyo TX-SR875 would work with that).

Amazing to me that Sony has been pushing HD audio quality of Blu-Ray, but doesn't even fully support it out of the box.
Naaaaa... engadget will try and keep the Blu and Red camps fighting with sensationalistic headlines as long as they can. Great ad revenue. ;)
For all those that think the Dems wanted to kill this bill (and save us and our liberties) are sadly mistaken. I'm a life-long Dem and even I can admit that.

It was really about two powerful special interest groups...
1. Trial lawyers of America - in the Dems hip pocket
2. The Telcos - in the Reps hip pocket

In the last few weeks, both of these special interest groups lobbied (read: bribed) for their version of the bill. Each party just want to protect their biggest campaign contributors and pass their own version of the bill. Once again, it's all about $$$$$ in the eyes of our so-called leaders.
Um, Josh... did you not read, "the DEMOCRATIC Senator for Arkansas." So I guess Bushie made him do it. lol
You are so very right. Voter fraud has been a problem for a long time now. Only engadget would have you believe that it's been a problem since "Diebold and friends" (read: Republicans) have been involved.

Correct me if I'm wrong... didn't the US voter recently elect a Democratic (read: "white hats") MAJORITY in Congress and the Senate using Diebold voting machines? So either this is not as big a problem as engadget is leading us to believe OR the Democrats reprogrammed those Diebold machines (read: cheated).

Also important... notice how engadget only reports the electronic voting fraud when the Democratic candidate loses??? Go back and read, it's very amusing.

And by-the-way, before you call me names, this comes from someone who a majority of the time votes for the Democratic party.
yooper1019 "Mark my words, the next class action Nintendo will get hit with is going to be from all the fat asses that have heart attacks from the exercise they "accidentally" do while while playing their Wii."

Best post today! And sadly very true. Shakespeare (in Henry VI) was right indeed!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
