guys - im going to bet that this "multi touch" is basically two split input panels at the bottom of the phone, which cann both work at the same time... not true multitouch.
notice he didnt cross over from one side to the other. eh? eh??

still interesting and potentially useful, but not the same thing. (and mechanically, WAY easier to implement).

this design is awful. infiniti has a much better one in the works that doesnt have these giant moving gears and such. Honestly, after seeing many VCR designs this one is probably the worst. Even the big piston adjusters next to the real pistons, could be easily replaces with a much smaller cam system, again like the infiniti system. go read it: http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/TECHNOLOGY/INTRODUCTION/DETAILS/VCR/

I just hate seeing lousy tech passed off as leading edge.

guys, of course you can get better rez/hd/etc etc for less, but this puppy ie meant for big presentations. your home theatre projector will look like garbage when projecting on a 20 foot screen in a well lit convention hall ;)

they have done it, well sortof a work in progress. the dp cars guy, see dpcars.net - the "bikini" project.

but also check out his DP1 car.. even more insane than this ariel monster.

Duh... just hovering takes a crapton of energy, which a car gets free while sitting still. throw a bunch of tech at this to make it safe etc and then the enviros will come after you for wasting fuel (oh, it burns ethanol too! it must be ok!).
stupid idea, always has been, still is today.

yeah i actually posted a followup message last night butforgot to click the authorize link, but striping etc could def go from way fast to way way fast.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
